Keep your system
up to date.

Update through Settings.

Open Settings → Updates and check for new releases. An available Sara OS update shows its changes and download size. Confirm installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

The updater verifies the digital signature and creates a restore point before installation. Do not interrupt installation. You will be told if signing in again is required.

New release notifications.

Sara OS checks for new releases automatically. When an update is available, a notification can appear with an Update button. Do Not Disturb suppresses pop-ups; you can always check manually in Settings.

Changes in each release.

See the changelog for new features, improvements and fixes. The available ISO may be older than the latest system update.

Restore an earlier system state.

Available restore points are listed in Settings → Updates. Restoring reverts applications and system settings while keeping your personal files. A restore point does not replace a backup on a separate drive.
